A series of drawings

This exhibit in The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago presented interpretations of famous landmarks aimed at bringing accessibility to architecture. Buildings such as the Empire State Building and John Hancock were constructed entirely out of LEGO tiles. The simplicity and nostalgic quality of LEGO affords viewers a new, detailed look at familiar buildings. In addition, the exhibit needed architecture’s sketches to inform visitors about the buildings’ dimensions. I created a series of drawings to look like rough sketches by an architect’s hand which were displayed on the walls of the exhibit space.
